Saturday Night is the Loneliest Night of the Week is a lighthearted old school point and click adventure where a cassette tape sends you on a weird time-travelling caper.
In Saturday Night is the Loneliest Night of the Week you follow the story of Nate, a young man who is handed a mysterious cassette by an old man whilst leaving his apartment building. He’s told under no circumstances to use it in any way – which he immediately ignores and finds himself transported through time. He now needs to figure out what’s going on and get back home as he embarks on a wonderfully weird time-looping adventure.
The puzzles are generally very simple in Saturday Night is the Loneliest Night of the Week, but it’s the story and the characters that are the real draw. The whole thing is a lot of fun, with plenty of reverend humor, interesting twists and remarkably detailed pixel art environments. A great way to spend a Saturday night!
