Secret Doctrine is a mind-bending narrative-driven Sci-Fi adventure inspired by the world of Robert Sheckley, where an unscheduled stop on a subway train takes you to some very strange places.
Created by lama14kulan, creator of FISH, Secret Doctrine takes you on a bizarre existential adventure after an unexpected stop derails your subway journey. It soon turns out that your reality was merely an illusion created by a mysterious Professor Vyduroll or RAVy inc. You now need to venture through a series of strange realities as you go in search of Vyduroll and in search of answers.
There are some minor puzzles to solve, but on the whole it’s a narrative-driven experience, where you meet strange characters in each reality and they help enlighten you as to what’s going on in the world. The conversations can be a little long and clunky, and there are clearly some translation issues with the dialogue, but other than that Secret Doctrine is a fascinating experience. Visually it’s very impressive and if you can handle the dialogue then it’s one hell of a train trip. It’s well worth seeing where this magical mystery tour takes you!
