Shword is a very tricky puzzle platformer in which you can throw swords in four directions and teleport to them – a skill that you’ll have to master if you want to make it through the games fiendishly designed levels.
In Shword you move with the WASD keys, and throw swords with the arrow keys. These swords can be used to kill enemies, but their most useful function is to allow you to teleport to the point that they land in the wall. Your sword throwing/teleporting skills will really be put to the test throughout Shword‘s short playtime as levels require forward planning and split second timing to avoid death.
The visuals in Shword are simple but very stylish, with quirky character design and a cool retro aesthetic, all while being accompanied to a catchy chiptune soundtrack. It makes for a charming, challenging and well crafted puzzle platformer well worth checking out.
