Sleep Safe and Sound is a beautiful and chilled out little first person narrative experience where you explore an abandoned game world while learning of its back story and why the game is dead.
In Sleep Safe and Sound you explore the game world of an abandoned game called “Sweet Dreams”. As you explore you’ll discover secrets and hear eulogies from the designer who explains the main concepts of Sweet Dreams and the reasons it failed.
As it’s essentially a walking simulator, there’s not much in the way of interaction in Sleep Safe and Sound, but it’s a beautiful, relaxing and interesting place to explore. It’s fun hearing the dev explaining why their fictional Sleep Safe game failed and it’s interesting that most of the reasons are the same reasons that Sleep Safe and Sound is such a fascinating and unique experience. A delightful little daydream about a dead fictional game.
