Sludge Life is a wonderfully weird free-roaming tagging adventure where you explore a city built in a sludge-covered planet, tag walls, discover secrets, smoke cigarettes, take mind-altering drugs, play basketball and make a stand against a sludge-pumping corporation.
In Sludge Life you take on the role of a fledgling tagger who is looking to leave their mark on a sludge-filled city. It’s a large place, but packed full of detail and you can explore it freely, chatting to NPCs, partaking in petty vandalism and discovering all manner of weird secrets and easter eggs along the way.
There’s a lot to do in Sludge Life’s city, whether it’s tagging walls and other large structures, shooting some hoops, smoking cigarettes, farting, taking pictures, eating banana slugs, gliding, taking magic mushrooms or spitting in the food of a powerful CEO. It’s a vast urban playground for you to explore, tag and experiment with until your heart’s content. There are also (at least) three endings to discover and plenty of little secrets to unearth.
It’s a fantastic game that continually surprises you with it’s colorful sludge-filled world and the variety of things you can do and see within it. A perfect antidote to the lockdown blues. Highly recommended.
