Solis is a narrative-driven Sci-Fi horror adventure where you explore a mysterious abandoned spaceship and learn about the dark fate that befell it.
In Solis you follow the adventure of a lone pilot who encounters an abandoned research vessel on his way home through the Outer Rim. After entering the vessel you find that it’s powered down and there appears to be nobody onboard. To get to the bottom of what happened there you’ll need to scan logs and reroute power-supplies to doors to give you access to the rest of the ship. The further you investigate, the more you realize that something very bad indeed occurred on the ship.
Taking around 10 minutes to play through, the actual story of Solis isn’t hugely consequential and the ending is a little bit of an anticlimax, but that doesn’t really matter as it’s very well told, incredibly atmospheric and very tense. The way you reroute power to different systems is cleverly implemented and the voice acting is particularly impressive. Hopefully there are more adventures for your brave pilot in the future as he’s a lot of fun to hang out with.
