SPOOKWARE is a fantastic horror themed take on WarioWare, where you attempt to complete 10 macabre microgames that would even make Wario’s stomach turn!
Created for the 2 Minute Game Jam by Viktor Kraus and Adam Pype (creator of the excellent No Players Online, Tonsil Terror and Turnip), SPOOKWARE takes Nintendo’s classic WarioWare formula and adds a delightfully dark horror twist to it. There are 10 micro games (plus one final one) in total, ranging from collecting Slenderman pages to abducting cows or even sawing your way through a human leg. As in WarioWare you need to work fast to figure out how to beat each one and practice is the key to success.
The presentation of SPOOKWARE is superb and each game offers up a unique challenge with great little nods to other horror games and classic horror tropes. You’ll need quick reflexes and nerves of steel to beat this one. Highly recommended.
