Streets of Kamurocho is a fantastic Streets of Rage/Yakuza mash-up that sees Kiryu and Majima (from the Yakuza games), punching their way through the streets of Kamurocho.
Released for free for a limited time by SEGA as part of their 60th anniversary celebrations, Streets of Kamurocho is a good old fashioned Streets of Rage style 2D side-scrolling beat ‘em up set in the Yakuza universe. It’s playable in single-player or local multiplayer and sees Kiryu and Majima (and an unlock able character) dishing out pain on the streets of Kamurocho. It is essentially a reskin of the first level Streets of Rage, with you repeating it until you die (to earn a spot not he leaderboard).
It’s a great bit of retro side-scrolling beat ‘em up fun with an excellent soundtrack and high quality pixel art animation. It’s only available for a limited time, so grab it quick!
