Stumblehill is a charming physics based puzzle platforming adventure where a little penguin who struggles to stay upright attempts to climb a mountain.
We take a lot of things for granted in video games, one of which is that your character has some sense of balance that allows them to stay on their feet. Stumblehill challenges this tradition by providing your with a cute little penguin who will stumble and fall over if the ground isn’t perfectly flat. Your characters’ lack of balance makes for a very different platforming experience, and although it can come in handy at times, the simple act of walking up a hill can become a herculean task!
It’s an odd little game where simple obstacles can offer a real challenge. It would be easy to become frustrated with your character’s lack of balance, but there’s something endearing about it and the beautifully animated game world is a very pleasant place to spend some time in. A very unique little platforming adventure well worth checking out.
