Stumped is a short, sweet and beautifully animated little interactive narrative adventure about a boy, a frisbee and a tree.
Taking just a few minutes to play through, Stumped is a charming little narrative experience which follows a young boy who gets his frisbee stuck up a tree. The young boy is clearly upset that the tree has stolen his frisbee and sets about trying to get it back. Time passes and each day he excitedly runs to the tree and tries a new method of retrieving the frisbee, with his adventures all beautifully hand animated.
It’s very short and there’s not a whole lot of interactivity in the Stumped, but it’s a delightful little experience with a thoughtful ending. He spends his entire time trying to get it back from his tree nemesis, but there’s clearly a bond that grows between them as the story played out. Was the frisbee what the boy really wanted?
