Sunken Heads is a surreal first person adventure where you are the only person that can move in a bizarre dream-world populated by oddball static characters.
Drawing inspiration from classic 90s point and click adventures, Sunken Heads is a weird and surreal adventure where a mysterious package transports you into a dream-world filled with quirky 2D stock-photo characters who can’t move. As you explore the world you’ll solve puzzles and travel on a ship (captained by Phil from Eastenders’ disembodied head) to new lands.
It takes several hours to play through Sunken Heads and it takes you to some wonderfully weird places along the way. One minute you’ll be joining a cult, the next you’ll be attending an underground dinner party or talking to a runaway bar owner in a cave full of meat monsters.
There is the occasional touch of horror, but on the whole Sunken Heads is more focused on allowing the player to discover the many absurd and surreal sights (and people) in its bizarre static dreamworld. A fascinating experience that’s packed full of creativity and fun surprises. Highly recommended.
