Super Mario HTML5 is a very impressive near-perfect fan made recreation of the entire original Super Mario Bros. game, played in a zoomed out wide-screen view and playable on any browser.
Widescreen visuals aside, the fidelity to the original Super Mario Bros. game is very impressive. The audio, visuals, enemy movement and level design (complete with warp zones) are all spot on. The only real issues are that there can be a little lag in some browsers and that playing on a keyboard is never going to be as good as a trusty NES pad. But on the whole it’s a great replication of one of the most influential games of all time.
