Symbiosis is a RPG Maker based psychological horror adventure that follows the story of a woman who lives in a woodland where people often go missing.
In Symbiosis you follow the adventure of Magnolia, a woman who is said to be a witch and is thought by many to be the cause of the disappearances in the area. Whether this is true or not you’ll soon find out, but you’ll also have to deal with a group of nosey intruders who are sneaking about your house looking for evidence. At the same time you’ll also need to look after your son Mint, and make sure he’s not disturbed by anything going on.
It’s a great little game with high quality artwork and some excellent storytelling. Taking around thirty minutes to play through, Symbiosis weaves a disturbing, but also heartfelt tale as you learn more about Magnolia and Mint’s life. Magnolia is obviously a bit of a monster, but she genuinely thinks she has a justifiable reason for her actions. They may be a little harder to justify as the bodies pile up though!
