Talking To My Dad is a touching little branching narrative adventure where you have a little heart to heart conversation with your father while on a car drive.
In Talking To My Dad you find yourself sitting in the passenger seat of your dad’s car as he takes you back to University following your visit home. The conversation is awkward and you’re really not keen to open up to your father (particularly when he starts talking about things like sex), but as the miles pass by maybe you’ll be able to let him in a little (or not, it really depends on your choices).
Taking around 15 minutes to play through, it’s a beautifully written little experience that does a great job of capturing the awkwardness of conversations between an estranged child and parent. Your character has some very real problems that they’re dealing with and your father may actually have some good advice (and plenty of good intentions), but the communication barrier between you two makes things difficult. Thankfully though, you’ve got plenty of miles to work through them!
