The Bad Thoughts is a nonlinear action platforming adventure where a troubled man ventures into his own mind to dispatch the bad thoughts and negative energy from his life.
Created for the IGA Impact Jam, in The Bad Thoughts you take control of a man as he ventures around in his own mind. His mind is a sprawling labyrinth that’s filled with bad thoughts that manifest as blue monsters. You need to grab a sword and dispatch them all before moving on to the exit of each level.
As far as gameplay goes The Bad Thoughts is a fairly simple little action platformer, but the excellent pixel art and the level design do a lot to elevate it. Plus there’s something very satisfying about getting rid of all those bad thoughts!
