The Club is a thoroughly bizarre MMO from Crows Crows Crows (cretors of Accounting+ and Dr Langeskov…) that takes place within a 90’s cyberspace styled nightclub.
When you enter The Club you’re given a silly randomly generated username and an even more silly randomly selected 2D avatar. You can then wander around a weird nightclub that looks like it’s been patched together by pieces of 90’s internet. You can chat, level up, change your avatar, dance and listen to over 100 (surprisingly good) 90’s styled dance tunes.
It’s a weird and wonderful experience, with no real objective, other than to just enjoy yourself. There is a very tough platforming adventure though, where you attempt to climb a tower, that you can access once you reach level up to a club level of 18 or higher. It’s very hard and if you die in there then your club level gets reset, but who knows what odd secrets are hidden atop the tower.
