In The Enigma Machine you take on the role of an operative who is currently running through a training simulation (called DREAMSCAPE) that lets you delve into the mind of AI’s. You’re guided through the training by a helpful AI called demOS, but the further you poke around in the program, the more things start to unravel…
Taking around an hour to play through, The Enigma Machine is one hell of an experience that delivers some remarkable surprises, inventive game design and a surprisingly poignant narrative. The puzzles really make you think outside of the box and it has an incredible mid-90’s glitchy VHS visual style that decays spectacularly as you delve deeper into the AI’s mind. It’s an incredible experience and it will stick with you long after completion. Highly recommended.
