The Fallen Foundation is a fun little first person horror game where you explore a facility that’s researching fungus which could provide a groundbreaking scientific breakthrough (or turn people into homicidal maniacs).
In The Fallen Foundation you are a visitor at the headquarters of The Fungus Foundation – a scientific research institute that’s doing pioneering work on a special kind of genetically modified fungus. As you explore you learn more about the Fungus Foundation and the work that they do there, but things soon take a turn for the worse as it appears many of the employees may have been exposed to experimental fungal spores. Still, it’s only a few little fungal spores, what’s the worst that could happen?
Taking around 15 minutes to play through, The Fallen Foundation offers a nice blend of narrative, humor and scares as you explore the fungal infected building. It is let down a bit by a couple of very cheap jump scares, but it’s a fun and entertaining slice of horror nonetheless.
