The Frightening Nightmare of Little Eddy is a stylish and creepy Tim Burton-esque puzzle platforming adventure where you attempt to escape from a nightmare where you’re being held captive by a puppet-master who wants to be your friend.
Drawing inspiration from the illustrations of Tim Burton, in The Frightening Nightmare of Little Eddy you follow the journey of Eddy, a young boy who finds himself trapped in a nightmare he can’t wake up from. It soon becomes apparent you’ve been trapped ther by a puppet master who wants to be your friend (and keep you there forever), but thankfully you come across a magical talking sword that may aid your escape.
The sword in The Frightening Nightmare of Little Eddy is not only useful for dispatching the puppet master’s minions, but can be used to reveal or hide certain objects around you – such as manifesting platforms or making doors disappear. You’ll have to use the sword to solve puzzles and fend off evil puppets as you try to find a bed that you can fall asleep in to escape the nightmare.
It’s a fun little adventure with inventive puzzle design, an interesting story and fantastic art design that makes it look like a Tim Burton movie in video game form. See if you can escape this beautiful nightmare or if you’ve found a new forever friend!
