The Goat Crone is a creepy and surprising little point and click adventure that sees you attempting to perform a dark ritual that will rid you of an evil entity (called The Goat Crone) which haunts you and your baby brother.
The Goat Crone is the second episode in the Outer Zone point and click adventure series and it’s highly recommended to play through the first episode, Cyborg Seppuku, before playing this one. This adventure takes place in a small house surrounded by a forest and sees you taking control of a young woman who is attempting to ward off an evil spirit. The spirit in question is The Goat Crone, who preys on those who have committed a grievous sin (which you have). Thankfully though, you have a recipe for a spell that should ward her off, you just need to collect the ingredients and prepare them…
Taking around 10 minutes to play through, The Goat Crone really impresses with it’s stylish pixel art visuals, fun old school point and click puzzling gameplay and interesting narrative. If you’ve played the first game then ending is particularly intriguing and will have you dying to find out what happens on the next episode of The Outer Zone!
