The Horror Museum is a creepy little first person horror game where a wheelchair-bound protagonist solves riddles in a gallery filled with AI generated art.
Created for the AI and Games Jam 2022, in The Horror Museum you explore a creepy art museum where the doors between each room is locked. To unlock there door you need to solve little riddles/puzzles ranging from just counting the number of paintings in a room to more complex riddles that require more thought.
There are some minor scares, but on the whole the appeal of The Horror Museum is the eerie atmosphere and the riddle solving. The AI generated artwork is surprisingly good too – so much so that you really wouldn’t notice it was AI generated if you didn’t know.
