The House is an excellent PS1/VHS styled third person horror game that tells the story of four school friends who stay in an old house that’s home to some very dark secrets.
In The House you are a teenage girl who’s been invited to spend the weekend in an old house that’s been in your friend’s (and crush’s) family for years. It’s a big old house in a remote location, which has plumbing problems and lots of locked doors. Once you start opening these locked doors you learn about the house’s dark past and things start to get weird…
Taking around half an hour to play through, The House may have a few minor rough edges, but it’s one hell of an experience. It’s got an interesting story, some great scares, and the second half of the game really kicks up a gear. This is NOT a normal haunted house game!
