The Intrepid Explorer is a short sub-sea horror game where you search for a lost treasure in a ship that sank over 100 years ago.
Taking place in the mid 1800s, in The Intrepid Explorer you are a diver who’s gone in search of a cursed wooden idol that is said to be hidden within a ship that sank after setting sail from Africa in the 1700’s. You now need to dive down, explore the depths, find the idol and get back to the surface, while also avoiding the mysterious creatures that lurk down there.
With a 10 to 15 minute playtime, it’s a great little horror game that has a nice mixture of exploration, scares and intense chases. The monster design is pretty unique and it feels very eerie when you’re exploring the corpse-filled sunken ship. A shipwreck horror game that will wreck your nerves!
