The Maker of Masks is an unsettling PS1 styled fixed camera horror game set in a mysterious prison where masks are nailed to people’s faces to keep them alive.
In The Maker of Masks you find yourself hanging on a meat hook on a conveyor line which transports you into a large concrete prison. Once you enter the prison a mask is promptly nailed to your face to keep you alive, and you start to explore the prison in search of answers.
It’s a cleverly crafted little horror game that’s steeped in an eerie mystery. The Maker of Masks is an excellent little horror game. The PS1 styled visuals and environmental design are superb and the lore of the mysterious prison is fascinating. Highly recommended.
