There is Something in the Anderghast Mine is a dark and twisted RPG Maker survival horror game where you search for your father in an underground mine.
Created by Axel Vejar Dossow (creator of The Grotesque and Pixelesque), in There is Something in the Anderghast Mine you follow the story of Marion – a young woman whose father went missing while working in a mine ten years ago. You’ver recently been contacted by the caretaker of the (now shut-down) mine, who claims to have been contacted by your father. Time to go in search of answers!
Taking around 1-2 hours to play through, There is Something in the Anderghast Mine is an excellent horror adventure with some great twists and a genuinely interesting story. The pixel art visuals are crude but effective, there’s a nice variety of monsters and there are also some fun comedic touches (such as the first ending). Highly recommended.
