These Monsters is a creepy, surreal and beautiful procedurally generated experience in which you explore an infinite series of museums, all filled with Predator night vision-style portraits of monsters.
These Monsters will feel a little familiar to those who have played Secret Habitat, one of the Strangethinks previous (and excellent) procedurally generated art exhibition experiences, with you exploring a procedurally generated worlds, populated with procedurally generated museums, which are filled with procedurally generated pieces of art. These Monsters has a far more unsettling tone than Secret Habitat though, with the museums filled with procedurally generated portraits of monsters, black ooze spread across the floors and TV screens displaying random loops of footage.
These Monsters feels like a nice counterpoint to Secret Habitat. As unlike Secret Habitat, These Monsters doesn’t feel like a very nice place to be, with monster portraits surrounding you in all directions and a world that’s been touched by darkness, making for a more intense and unsettling experience. A stylish, surreal and creepy infinite monster museum.
