They Grew Lungs and Drowned is a surreal, unsettling and incredibly weird retro styled first person adventure where you explore and speak to survivors in a world where the food has run dry.
It’s very hard to figure out what the hell is actually going on in They Grew Lungs and Drowned, but it’s a fascinating experience nonetheless. Your journey takes you underwater, into a dusty desert and into a hospital filled with weird patients. You explore, chat to people and move on, possibly none the wiser, but oddly amused nonetheless.
It’s a truly baffling experience and also quite an unforgettable one. You never know what new oddities you’ll encounter in each new scene and there are strange little pearls of wisdom you’ll learn along the way. A truly bizarre experience well worth checking out.
