Tinnitus is an unsettling little horror game that revolves around Tinnitus, as the constant ringing in your ears leads to obsession.
Different Tinnitus patients hear different forms of ringing in their ears (you can hear a selection of them here) but the one your character is suffering is a particularly nasty one. The Tinnitus noise plays all the way through the game, providing a deeply unsettling soundtrack to your suffering. There’s no escaping the noise – it’s everywhere you go, all around you, calling out to you, singing in your head. What does the noise want? Is there any way to stop it?
Tinnitus only takes a few minutes to play through but its a deeply unnerving experience that really gets under your skin and makes you feel for those that suffer from Tinnitus. You can stop that noise by closing down the game, Tinnitus sufferers don’t have that luxury!
