Top of the Spots is an addictive browser based quiz game that tasks you with guessing which songs have had the most plays on Spotify.
The rules of Top of the Spots are simple – you’re given a choice of two songs and must guess which one has the most all-time plays on Spotify. If you choose the correct answer then you move on to the next round and if you fail then it’s game over. Your aim is to see how far you can get before you get knocked out (get nine or more right in a row and you’ll be in the top 10%).
It’s a simple premise that’s very well done, with a slick UI and a very addictive quiz style that keeps you coming back for just one more go. There are some pretty surprising results and as Spotify has only been going for 10 years, a lot of the songs that were released before then don’t have as high amount of plays as you’d think!
