Totem is a funny and inventive little Talos Principle and Portal inspired first person puzzle platforming adventure where you use the ability to project objects in the environment as you do the bidding of the God of Destruction.
The bad news is that you’ve fallen down a hole into a long forgotten underground cave system. The good news is that there’s a god trapped down there too and will help you to get out. However, as he’s the God of Destruction it’s a little hard to trust him and he’s certainly not helping you out of the kindness of his heart!
After a rather humorous introduction, the god bestows some useful godly powers upon you, which allow you to select certain objects in the environment and project them another place. This initially is essentially used to create platforms for yourself, but later on things get a little more complex as gravity flipping comes into play.
Taking around 15 minutes to play through, Totem is an excellent little platforming adventure with a great sense of humor, a fun premise and some very cleverly constructed puzzles. The visuals are beautiful and the voice acting of the God of Destruction is particularly enjoyable. Highly recommended.
