Tristram is a fun little incremental adventure where you manage a little settlement and send adventurers to recover loot from dungeons.
Created for Ludum Dare 55, Tristram blends incremental gameplay with dungeon crawling as you manage a settlement and bands of adventurers. The gameplay is fairly simple – you hire differently skilled adventurers, form them into teams and send them off into monster-filled dungeons.
Your team-members automatically fight until they either die, complete the dungeon or get scared and run away. The survivors can then use their loot to buy better equipment and they also give you a cut, which you use to hire new adventurers and upgrade the settlement.
It’s a fun little game with a great visual style and a very addictive gameplay loop. A dungeon crawler where you get your expendable minions to do all the hard work!
