Twilight Escape is a surprisingly good fan made first person My Little Pony horror adventure which follows Twilight Sparkle as she attempts to escape from an underground labyrinth inhabited by an evil shadowy entity.
Drawing inspiration from the TV series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Twilight Escape sees you taking on the role of a magical pony called Twilight Sparkle who finds herself trapped in a dark labyrinth after a mishap with a spell book. To escape she’ll have to explore, search for clues and use her abilities to solve puzzles, but she’s not alone in there – a deadly shade lurks in the darkness and will devour you if it catches you.
Taking around 45 minutes to play through, Twilight Escape is far better than a horror game based on the My Little Pony franchise has any right to be. There’s a nice selection of puzzles, platforming and stealth, the shadowy entity is suitably spooky and the rhyming story notes between levels are a lot of fun. Also, there’s something oddly enjoyable about the noises your hooves make when you walk and run across the stone floors!
