Twin 1986 is a stylish and challenging speedrunning precision platforming game where you simultaneously control two mirrored characters who can bounce each-other over obstacles.
In each level of Twin 1986 your aim is to guide your two characters to the exit as fast as possible. You simultaneously control one character on the top of the screen and a mirrored character on the bottom of the screen.
When your characters hit the thin layer ground between the two they can transfer their momentum, allowing one to catapult the other into the air. The level layouts of the top and bottom screen are similar, but different so you need to pay attention to both to allow your characters to avoid hazards and overcome obstacles.
With 20 levels to play through, it’s a fun little game with creative level design, a great visual style and responsive controls. The levels are short, but very challenging and have plenty of replayability as you try to claim a space on the online leaderboards.
