Typewriter is a tricky little typewriter-based shoot ‘em up that sees you fighting for space on a page that keeps filling with letters.
In Typewriter you control a little blue ship that must try and stay alive for as long as possible as the page fills up around you. As well as words filling the page around you, enemies and power-ups will also spawn and a mgi hand will appear now and again and leave red ink on the page. You can blast the enemies and the words around you to clear a space, but the red ink is permanent so you have to navigate around it.
It’s a fun little shoot ‘em up, with a very cool typewriter-based aesthetic and fast paced arcade gameplay that can get pretty frantic as the page fills up. Well worth checking out for some arcade type ‘em up action.
