Venus Looks For Jupiter is a short and stylish Mirror’s Edge-esque first person parkour platformer where you race through a cityscape looking for love.
Venus Looks For Jupiter is based on (and features) an Israeli rock song called “Noga Mechapeset Tzedek“, which can translate to either “Venus looks for (a) Jupiter” or “Venus seeks justice”. The devs have gone for the former translation in the game and sees you running, vaulting, wall-running, sliding and shooting your way across a vast low-poly cityscape.
The movement doesn’t flow quite as well as Mirror’s Edge, but even so Venus Looks For Jupiter is a lot of fun and there are some thrilling set pieces. It can be completed in under five minutes, but even so it’s worth playing through multiple times for a bit of speedrunning and the soundtrack is excellent. Highly recommended.
