WELCOME HOME is a wonderfully surreal horror adventure that follows an undead skeleton as he attempts to escape from a strange SCP-esque containment facility.
Based on the web comic of the same name, WELCOME HOME is a surreal pixel art horror adventure about an undead skeleton who is trapped inside a mysterious SCP style containment facility. The facility is filled with other monsters, the majority of which are friendly and who may be able to assist you as you try to make your escape. There are some monsters who are hostile though, who you’ll have to fend off with your shovel and there are some puzzles to solve along the way.
Taking around an hour to play through, it’s a delightfully strange experience that’s filled with surreal sights, excellent pixel artwork and oddball characters to meet. It’s got a dark sense of humor, there are lots of fun easter eggs and it’s a lot of fun getting to know all the inhabitants of the facility. The ending does feel a little abrupt, but it’s a wonderful journey nonetheless. Highly recommended.
