Where is 2021? is a fun little point and click adventure where you help Santa put an end to the cursed year of 2020 and usher in a new (and hopefully much better) year.
The creator of Where is 2021? Mateusz Skutnik has a tradition of releasing charming and cheerful little platforming adventures at the end of each year (such as Where is 2020? And Where is 2019?), which follow the adventures of Santa as he searches for the new year. However, quite understandably, this year Santa has had enough and is refusing to aid the bringing in of a new year. This is because each new year he finds seems to be worse than the last one. It looks like this year you’re on your own!
It’s not just Santa’s uncooperativeness that’s different this year. Rather than being a platformer, Where is 2021? is a short point and click adventure where you search for hidden objects, shoot Covid and solve puzzles.
Taking around 15 minutes to play through, it’s a great little game with a fun sense of humor, cleverly crafted puzzles and a surprising amount of stuff hidden within its recesses. Another delightful little year ending adventure from Mateusz Skutnik. So what are you waiting for? Time to bring in the new year! It can’t be any worse that the last one… can it?
