WipEout may be stuck in purgatory at the moment, but a fan has now ported the entire first game so that you can play it in your browser!
Psygnosis’ classic futuristic 1995 racer has quite rightly a huge fan base, but for some reason Sony’s been ignoring it for some time now. Thankfully you can now play the full game in your browser though, complete with some visual upgrades.
There’s a full 144Mb version that contains the intro and all the original music and there’s a stripped down version that removes the music and intro but is a tiny 11Mb download. It looks incredible and plays just like the original. Check it out now and hope that Sony doesn’t take it down!
