Zoom Cube is a mesmerising tunnel-running arcade game that really tests your reflexes as you guide a cube through a neon cyber-prison.
In Zoom Cube your aims are to make it to the end of the level as fast as possible and to collect as many points as possible. As you hurtle down through a neon-filled corridor of death you need to dodge the various hazards and grab collectibles and power-ups. The tunnel isn’t procedurally generated so you can memorise the obstacles and you can even slow down if you want (though that will hurt your time). Complete score and time objectives and you’ll then unlock new cubes.
It’s a fairly simple game and it would be nice if it had controller support, but it’s a lot of fun nonetheless. The visuals are eye-melting and the techno trance soundtrack goes well with the gameplay. See if you can survive the cyber-prison!
