Mansion Bros is a charming little PICO-8 powered top-down Luigi’s Mansion fan game where Luigi and friends go ghost hunting in a labyrinthine secret-filled mansion.
Playable in single-player or with up to 8 players locally, Mansion Bros is a delightful top-down addiction adventure where you battle ghosts and search for a golden trophy in a haunted mansion. There are eight playable characters to choose from (Mario, Luigi, Wario, Peach, Rosalina, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles) and each of them comes equipped with a Luigi’s Mansion style vacuum cleaner that can be used to fight ghosts and interact with the environment.
It’s a delightful little homage to Luigi’s adventures with excellent pixel art visuals, easily accessible gameplay and great level design. Of particular note is the secret collectibles that are hidden within hidden areas within the mansion. They’re especially fun to find and really elevate the game to another level. Highly recommended.
