The Robolovers is a wonderfully whimsical little old school point and click adventure in which you help a lovestruck robot rescue his beloved from a massage parlour she’s trapped in by a P.I.M.P. (a Pneumatic Intelligent Massage Protocol droid).
Taking around 45 minutes to complete, in The Robolovers you play LO43R, a lovestruck droid who’s been jilted by his lover. However it seems that your Ex has fallen on hard times since the breakup and has ended up trapped working in a massage parlour working for a P.I.M.P. droid. It’s up to you and your handy little B.A.L.L.S. (Belly Activated Listening & Looking System) to break into the massage parlour and escape with your Ex, while hopefully rekindling your romance in the process.
The Robolovers offers a great slice of retro point and click adventuring, with clever puzzle design, quirky characters, great pixel artwork and a very funny sense of humor that’s packed full of sci-fi in-jokes and silly puns. A charming little adventure that’ll melt your heart (or the circuits where your heart’s meant to be!)
